Sweet Orange

(Citrus aurantium)

Also a member of the Citrus family (Rutaceae),the fruit of Citrus aurantium is slightly different to that of the bergamia variety.

The essential oil of Sweet Orange is extracted by cold pressing of the peel of the fruit to yield a light yellowish brown oil that has a sweet and warm fragrance.
