A native of the Middle East and the Mediterranean, the use of the Sesame plant has a long history as both a food and a medicine. It is a rich source of Vitamins like A, B1, B2, B3, E, and the minerals calcium, magnesium, phosphorus for building strong bones and teeth, the amino acid methionine and lecithin which are beneficial to the healthy functioning of the liver.

It is suitable for use on oily and normal skin types.
