Olive Oil

     Olive is an evergreen tree native to the Mediterranean region that grows to 9 metres tall and takes about 15 years to bear fruit. The oil itself is extracted from the almost ripe drupes by the PRESSING method.

     The oil has a heavy texture and varies in colour from a pale golden yellow to a dark green. The purest form is from the “extra virgin” pressing.

     Olive oil is soothing and healing to all skin types, hence its wide use in soaps, cosmetics and massage oils. It helps relieve itch, stings and bites, healing of burns, dandruff and is an excellent hair tonic, especially for dry hair.
